Features in Sandbox

Features in Sandbox lists customer-facing capabilities that are deployed with the weekly release and enabled (or being validated) on sandbox marketplaces, before they are announced in a versioned production release.

These items are not yet tied to a production release note. Dates below show when each feature is expected to graduate into a numbered release. Expected dates are based on the finalized / production target for that release.

How to read this section

  • Sandbox means validation on sandbox marketplaces after the weekly deploy.
  • Listing here does not guarantee a specific production date. The table above is the current plan.
  • When a feature graduates, it moves into that week's versioned release notes and is removed from this section.
  • Major Upgrades use the same sandbox and production announcement path as other features, with an additional enterprise rollout window. For enterprise marketplaces, the feature is typically not enabled by default at GA. An approximately eight-week window follows for testing and customer communication. When a Sandbox item is a Major Upgrade, the table above indicates that release plan. See Major upgrades and enterprise rollout.

For how this fits the weekly cadence, product lifecycle phases, and enablement sections, see Release Notes.
